In this Unit, you will learn basic information about planning for an early care and education classroom. The daily schedule and weekly lesson plan are the planning tools that organize the daily routines and activities for the early childhood program. You will learn how curriculum and the planning and implementing of developmentally appropriate experiences and activities contribute to the management of your program.
You're starting Unit 5 of the CDA Training.
This course is designed to meet the educational requirements for the National CDA Credential. Once you complete all 8 Units, you will have the required formal education to apply for a Child Development Associate Credential.
This training may, or may not, meet annual training requirements in your state. Please provide us with your state, and any State registry ID number at the end of each Unit, and if we are able to record your completed training with your state, we will. In some cases, for annual state credit, you will need to submit the certificate to the appropriate registry and they may or may not award annual credit. The training is approved for the National CDA Credential regardless of whether annual continuing education credit is awarded.
