  • Student will develop early math skills, including recognizing shapes, colors as well as counting
  • Student will engage with dramatic play materials

  • Activities and materials encourage children to develop their imaginations
a) Dramatic play materials and activities are available for children daily
Materials: ​
  • Playdough
  • small items for toppings
  • spatula
  • Play plates
  • Play money

Procedure: ​
  • Prepare the area by arranging all materials appropriately
  • Assess students’ prior knowledge about pizza parlors.
  • Invite children to play in the restaurant 
Assessment: ​
  • Observe and record the student’s actions as they engage in play. What math concepts did they explore? Did they show one-to-one correspondence when counting the money?
